Bell and Ryu’s adventure ends in episode 11 of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV Part 2 titled “Luvia (Starry Flower).”

A long-fought battle to survive through the darkest and most dangerous dungeon known across the lands finally completes its run as Bell and Ryu manage to survive all the struggles they’ve been put through, facing the trauma of the past with no hopes for the future.

Ryu comes out a completely different person who has come to terms with the death of the Astrea Familia and has a newfound respect for Bell, who she tried to sacrifice her own life for.

The monster continues stalking the outside of the crevice as Bell walks out severely wounded yet fearless and talks to the beast directly, announcing its imminent death as he stares into its eyes with a determination that could quickly kill.

Ryu walks the river between the afterlife and her current one; she is stopped by Alise, who reminds her of what awaits her back in the cave. Sparks of fire light behind her back as Bell continues to fight for her sake fearlessly. Alise reminds her of what the Astrea family was all about; her sense of justice is what’s truly important.

Everyone in the familia now turns around to face her head on as she finally brings herself to terms with everything she’s done, her mistakes, and her reparations. She lets it all out through a face full of tears, finally strengthening her resolve and deciding what she wants to do.

As Bell goes toe to toe with the enormous beast, Ryu provides backup with a massive strike from behind as they launch simultaneous attacks with strategic intentions behind each attack. Using spells that counter each monster, they strike strong within the monster’s armor.

However, Ryu will never forget the monster’s movements from the night of her Familia’s death and anticipates its attack and uses her special attack to land a direct hit straight into the monster’s heart, completely obliterating it for good, and they both pass out in exhaustion.

In time, the rescue party finally reaches them both and gives them healing potions to bring them back from unconsciousness. Bell is relieved at seeing Wiene’s face and returns to rest in peace. The rest of the party finally reunites for a joyful reunion with Bell and Ryu.

Ryu wakes back up in the mansion as she sleeps for three days. She wakes up and immediately dashes out to see Bell, who has completely recovered and is enjoying a meal with all his friends. Hestia and Bell talk about how he survived against such odds, something he directly owes to Ryu’s wisdom.

Each party member also recollects all the battles they went through and the things they learned during the adventure. Gale Wind is also now pronounced dead, much to Ryu’s relief and the anger of sure adventurers.

Ryu also finally understands the true underlying meaning behind lady Astrea’s words. It was not an ex-communication or rejection but something she would only know once the time was right, and Bell had brought that time straight to her.
