Crunchyroll To Stream Five New Anime Titles This Fall

Crunchyroll has been extra aggressive while acquiring the rights for multiple anime despite the tough competition from other streaming platforms.

The 2023 Fall lineup looks fantastic, and Crunchyroll is streaming most of these titles. Crunchyroll has officially broken its record of the most licensed shows in one season. The company has licensed around 51 anime shows and will possibly announce more.

They have released information about five new titles, and here’s everything you need to know about these anime.

1. The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons

The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons anime will premiere on October 5 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. Mitsuru Hongo is directing the anime at Shuka.

This series depicts the life of four brothers from the Yuzuki family. These brothers lost their parents 2 years ago, and how they navigate their family, school, and community forms the crux of the story.

2. Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me

Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me will premiere on October 6 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. Hideaki Oba is directing the anime at ENGI.

The series centers on the relationship between Ryūto Kashima, a gloomy social outcast, and Runa Shirakawa, a popular girl at school. How these two opposite characters learn to accept their differences forms the crux of the story.

3. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You will stream on Crunchyroll on October 8 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Hikaru Sato is directing the series at Bibury Animation Studio.

It is essentially a parody manga with the absurd premise of the mad lad Rentarou dedicating himself to getting together with 100 girls, or else they die. He has no free time for himself as he tries his best and works his hardest for all these girls.

4. Kawagoe Boys

Kawagoe Boys Sing is all set to premiere on October 9 at 10:45 a.m. EDT. Jun Matsumoto is directing the anime at evg in collaboration with Telecom Animation Film.

The anime features the story of former choir member Dei Tenshi, who shut himself inside his room and has been quietly singing alone. Haruo is an up-and-coming conductor who wants to bring victory to a newbie choir club driven by his selfish motivation.

How these two achieve their goals while navigating through the ups and downs that come their way forms the crux of the story.

5. Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3

Crunchyroll has acquired the streaming rights for the third season of Uma Musume Pretty Derby. However, they haven’t announced the release date for this anime.

The plot of Season 3 will revolve around the characters Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond striving for their dreams at Tracen Academy. Kitasan Black was found to be joining Team Spica, while Satono Diamond would be joining Team Capella, a new squad founded following the events of Season 2.

The company will stream the Let Me Check the Walkthrough First Chinese animated series on October 6 at 11:00 a.m. EDT and the fourth season of The Daily Life of the Immortal King Chinese animated series in December.
