Cheat Skill: New manga to be launched on June 27th by Risumai

Light novels are often being adapted into manga these days. The reason behind this is simple. Fans appreciate and read manga more, so having a manga adaptation means the story of the novel will reach a wider audience. 

The 2020 July issue of Monthly Comic Rex magazine by Ichijinsha which was released on May 27th, revealed that the illustrator Risumai is planning to launch a manga adaptation of Cheat Skill’ Shisha Sosei’ ga Kakusei Shite, Inishie no Maogun o Fukkatsu Sasete Shimaimashita -Daremo Shinasenai Saikyo Healer- (I Accidentally Resurrected the Demon King’s Ancient Army When I Learned the ‘Resurrection’ OP Skill -The Strongest Healer Who Won’t Let Anyone Die-) light novel series written by Hanyu.

The adaptation will be launched on June 27th in the next issue of the magazine. A photo of the announcement was posted by Risumai on their Twitter account.  

About the Cheat Skill series 

The still ongoing light novel series was penned by Hanyu. She serialized it on the Shoetsuka ni Naro website in August 2019. The first volume in print was published on May 2nd, 2020, by Ichijinsha, with Shri adding illustrations.

The story of the novel revolves around a guy named Licht. He was a healer in an S-rank adventurer group. All was going well until the king started viewing Licht as a threat. The reason behind this? Licht had gained the resurrection skill.

Licht’s comrades betrayed him, and he was executed on the king’s orders. Here the first plot twist appears. Licht resurrects himself and vows for revenge against all who wronged him. He resurrects the army of the Demon King and becomes the greatest enemy of Humanity.
