Makima kills Denji’s attackers in episode 9 of Chainsaw Man, titled “From Kyoto.”
It was an insane episode with loads of fighting. Makima finally gave us a glimpse of her true power, which is, by all means, terrifying. She crushed all the comrades of Katana Man with just some hand signs. We still don’t know what she actually did, which makes it even more interesting.
Kobeni left the viewers in shock after showcasing her inhuman physical strength. She is nothing like what she shows herself to be. She displayed some really epic moves and turned into her usual crybaby self after the fight.

Episode 10 Speculations
Kuruse and Tendo will pay a visit to Aki to his hospital in episode 10 of Chainsaw Man. The craziness has just started, and things will go much more insane from here on as we go into training mode in the next episode.
The ultimate chad and Makima’s teacher Kishibe will take center stage as he will be the one to train Denji and Power. His training is something that even someone like Chainsaw Man won’t be able to handle.
Aki will also begin his training with Kuruse and Tendo. He now has very few years left after using his sword. It’s time for him to get a new contract.
I just can’t wait to see all those crazy chapters get adapted.

Episode 9 Recap
Himeno sacrifices her life for Aki. Before dying, the Ghost Devil pulls the starter on Denji’s chest, awakening his Chainsaw form. Denji and Katana Man engage in a gory battle.
Their blades clash, and the battle elongates. However, amid their battle, two of Katana Man’s men start shooting at Denji, weakening him. Denji tries to take one of the men as a hostage, but Katana Man cuts both of them in half.
The bodies of devil hunters are spread all across the town. Makima’s killers are about to move ahead when they see Makima standing in front of them, undead.
Kuruse and Tendo are waiting for Makima at Kyoto station when they hear the news of Makima getting killed. When the train arrives, they are shocked to see Makima all well and the killer lying dead inside the train with a hole in their heart.
Makima orders Kuruse to bring in 30 convicts with death sentences to her and tells Tendo to find the nearest temple with the highest altitude. When Katana Man’s subordinates are trying to drag Denji to their van, suddenly, one of the guy explodes.
Suddenly, all of Sawatari and Katana Man’s men start exploding and getting crushed. This is all done by Makima, who uses her power to kill every one of them by telling the convicts to say the name of Sawatari’s comrades.
As the comrades fall, so do the convicts. One for each. Thus, the entire team of Sawatari is finished, with only she and Katana Man still alive. They suddenly see Kobeni standing far away, glaring at them.
Hirokazu actually saved Kobeni. Sawatari released her snake, but Kobeni rushed at them with her knife, dodging the bullets fired by Katana Man. She cuts off his hand and takes away his gun, shooting him multiple bullets.
She uses Denji as her shield and continues to fire at them, but they manage to run away. She freaks out when she remembers how Hirokazu saved her and wants to tell Himeno that she is quitting her job (who’s gonna tell her?!).
Makima returns to Tokyo and finds Madoka at the station, who informs her that everyone except the non-humans is dead and that special divisions 1, 2, and 3 will be merged into special division 4 because of a shortage of hunters.
Makima will lead division 4. Madoka hands her his resignation. Later, Tendo and Kuruse tell Makima that they don’t want to join the special division and are just there to train the hunters.
About Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.
The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
