It was a rather funny chapter seeing how Denji stubbornly rejected Hirofumi’s warning and did things his own way. The chapter was all about their interaction, but it all happened beside a protest.
Hirofumi took Denji out to make him understand the situation of the world and explain why it is necessary for him to stop transforming. However, Denji was not ready to let that sink in despite the warning of Nayuta’s death. He probably won in the end.

Hirofumi takes Denji to show him a protest where the protestors are demanding that Chainsaw Man be put down. At the same time, Chainsaw Man’s followers start fighting against the protestors.
Hirofumi tells Denji that a lot of people have joined the protest recently. Especially young people. The number of followers is increasing so rapidly that it might lead to larger conflicts.
This also tells that now Denji is not the only one in control of Chainsaw Man, so Hirofumi wants Denji to not turn into Chainsaw Man again as a measure to stop the conflicts.
Denji is in complete denial of the request, but Hirofumi warns him that if he keeps refusing, they will have to show him Nayuta’s corpse. He tells Denji that he can live a normal life just like he wants.

Nayuta emerges from the crowd, calling out for Denji. He goes and embraces her. Hirofumi scolds his man for letting them meet so soon. He gets agitated and warns Denji for not listening to him.
Whatever Denji wants to prove, if he transforms into Chainsaw Man again, Public Safety will kill Nayuta. Denji tells him that he is going home and leaves with Nayuta while Hirofumi still stands there in a state of confusion.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.
The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
