The demon-filled dimension known as “Mato” has opened and connected to Japan, and a type of “peach” tree that grows there yields fruit that confers special powers to those who eat it, giving humanity a fighting chance, but this only works for women. Humanity forms a Demon Defense force consisting of women to save those who end up on the other side.
One day, our hero Yuuki Wakura finds his way into Mato, and as he’s getting attacked by the shuukis, he meets Kyoka Uzen, commander of the seventh division. When stuck in a tough spot, he decides to become her slave through the use of her ability and gain enhanced powers. With this new power, he fights the monsters alongside her and enrolls as the caretaker for their squad and a fellow fighter.

2. Episode 2 Speculation
At the end of episode 1, Yuuki, who is exceptionally skilled in household work, is appointed as a caretaker for the seventh-division dormitory. He will also be fighting alongside Kyoka when needed. Kyoka’s subordinates, Shushu and Nei, seemed really excited about a new member, but Himari was somewhat skeptical about a boy being their caretaker.
Regardless of all this, he is the official caretaker of the dorm now, and his journey towards the goal of becoming a hero starts now. While working towards his own goal, he’ll be helping Kyoka reach her goal of becoming the supreme commander while also avenging her sister by killing shuukis.
3. Recap of Episode 1
The show starts with a scene of mass destruction, a village under attack by monsters. We get a small flashback of our two main character’s childhood, hinting at their past tragedy. We are finally introduced to our main character, Yuuki Wakura, an average 3rd-year high-school student who accidentally ends up in Mato.
Speaking of Mato, the anime is set in a world where Japan is connected to another dimension called Mato, also known as the demon continent. Humans of Japan often end up there as a result of a sudden appearance of a “Gate”. This inevitably causes a lot of casualties.
As a counterattack, humans have formed the Demon Defense Force consisting of only women. “Peaches” that are farmed inside Mato have the ability to give supernatural powers specifically to women. On a fateful, or should we say unfortunate day, Yuuki, who had lost his sister to such a “Mato Mishap”, also gets transported there.
He is immediately attacked by demons called “Shuukis”. Just as it seems like the end of the road for him, a mysterious woman jumps in, eliminating the threats. She introduces herself as Uzen Kyoka, the Demon Defense Force’s seventh division commander. They rendezvous with Kyoka’s party in a while.
Kyoka tells the others to go ahead and take a different route with Yuki. Soon, they find a girl being chased by shuukis. As they rush to her help, they quickly find themselves in a rough spot as a lot more monsters arrive. Seeing the desperate situation, Kyoka takes out her trump card, her ability to turn anyone into her slave, granting them enhanced power.
She turns Yuuki into her slave, resulting in Yuuki becoming a ferocious white beast with burning red markings on his body. This makes him stronger than any of the monsters there, and he starts to tear open a path through them. With the help of this enhanced Yuuki, Kyoka handles the situation pretty easily.
Once the battle is over, we learn about the side effects of her ability. Once she makes someone into her slave, she must reward them for carrying out the given task. In Yuuki’s case, she has to reward him with a kiss for helping in the battle. Seeing his strength, Kyoka convinces him to work under her, and thus the story begins.

Mysterious entrances to the ‘Mato’ dimension appeared, threatning humans by the arrival of monsters called Shuuki. Hope came in the form of Mato fruit that gave superpowers to women who formed a matriarchal government, throwing men at the bottom of the social ladder.
