CBS Starts Works on Big Brother Season 22

Season 22 and still breathing, that’s Big Brother for you! Even coronavirus couldn’t stop its run. Talk about social distancing in this house that will be filled with strangers for a few months.

Anyway, so the news is that Big Brother is likely to return for a 22nd edition this summer, COVID or not.

The parent production house CBS is reported to have already started preparation for the return of the series. The house for season 22 of the reality series is currently being built.

For BigB fans, the show is already quite delayed. Big Brother would normally be on the air already, but COVID-19 has delayed production and filming of the annual CBS ritual reality series.

According to the news portal Deadline, the network and the producers still need to receive the approval from union and guild before they can even think about signing off on the show.

The principal photography and filming will only start after that happens.

There is also no word yet on casting. Meanwhile, an earlier report indicated that year 22 could be an all-star season, whatever that means.

Are we on 300 yet? Unfortunately not. So here’s a little something more. So according to DMZ, the “all-star” cast of this year’s contestants will be heading for two weeks of quarantine by the end of July.

Also, it was a month after TV Line first reported that Big Brother was coming with an all-stars season, which is apparently the second one of its kind—all contestants will be existing stars of television and probably films too.
