Catch Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 1 On Netflix On April 30

Recently, Demon Slayer Season 2 was postponed till 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. Season 1 aired last year and took the anime market by a storm.

Often called the “series of the decade,” it outsold even One Piece by selling over 40 million copies.

Despite being one of the best selling manga and its availability in English, a few months back, there were no signs of its Netflix release. How come a show like Demon Slayer was not available on Netflix remained a big question until now!

Fortunately, Netflix has been bulking up its catalog during the pandemic period, and some big titles are being added every week.

Demon Slayer Season 1, along with One Punch Man Season 2, will be available on Netflix starting Thursday, April 30.

The timing of this release is great, it allows you to binge the whole season over the weekend, a true TGIF indeed.

Up until now, Season 1 was only available for streaming on Hulu in collaboration with FUNimation, AnimeLab, and Crunchyroll.

One Punch Man Season 2 is also a great piece, slightly suffering from animation quality in its Season 2, but still packing the same old addictive action and humor of The One Punch Man series.

Demon Slayer is currently in its final arc, and the series might end soon given the main antagonist, Muzan, is already dead.

Now, the manga is on a one-week-long break, and surprisingly enough the reason is not COVID-19!

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 with 19 collected tankōbon volumes released as of present.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado.

They persisted after a great tragedy – the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko is barely spared to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
