There are a lot of different anime series out there, but not a lot of them tend to be quite unique in terms of their storyline. One of the most unique anime series that you can watch today is ‘Bungo Stray Dogs,’ which has its own following within the anime community due to how entertaining it is throughout.
With four successful seasons and season five just ending, many fans were left wondering if their beloved series would have another season or not. As in the final episode of season 5, there was an issue that caused a small state of panic among fans.
The 11th and final episode for the fifth season of the anime based on Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs manga ended with the words “To Be Continued” on Wednesday.
The thing that caused confusion among fans was that the episode’s ending caption in Japanese mistakenly stated that the work was “finished,” but the anime’s official website addressed on Friday that the text was a mistake, and the text should indeed actually say ‘To Be Continued.’
The staff will correct the error in the Blu-ray Disc/DVD release. Crunchyroll’s subtitle for the ending caption reads ‘To Be Continued.’
The staff have not officially announced the next season, but they have teased it. However, studio BONES has no manga content to animate for the series. Therefore, it may take quite a few years before the anime’s next season releases.
‘Bungo Stray Dogs’ is one of the best series out there, and if this is your first-time hearing about it or you dropped it in midseason, then I think you guys should really pick up on the series as season 5 was one of the most intense seasons out there.
