Therefore, there is no use in attempting to change them. At least, that’s what Fumiya Tomozaki believes in the rom-com series ‘Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki.’
That is until he meets Aoi Hinami, his school’s ideal heroine, who excels in academics, athletics, attractiveness, and popularity—following their encounter. Fumiya’s journey to improve at this awful game called life begins as Aoi leads him through each step. And the series fans should rejoice as their beloved series is returning for season 2.
The upcoming second season of Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki, subtitled “2nd STAGE”, today announced a January 2024 premiere with the reveal of a second teaser visual.
In the new teaser visual, we see Nanami Minami and Kikuchi Fuuka, the two supporting characters, which gives us a little insight into the plot as it may focus more on them. Also, the visual’s tagline reads, “I want to find out how I can fly in my sky.”

The staff and cast that worked on the previous season are returning to ensure that the anime’s second season is a big success.
Like myself, fans of the ‘Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki’ series are eagerly awaiting the second season, which promises to continue exploring themes of self-improvement, friendship, and love.

Low-tier Character Tomozaki-kun is a light novel series by Yuki Yaku. As of April 2023, 10 volumes and two short-story collections have been released.
Tomozaki-kun is a pro-level gamer who thinks that “Life is a bad game.” The powerful have freedom while the weak have to be submissive with no chance to fight for a top position.
He meets Aoi Hinami in high school, who is also the number two player in the game Attack Families and played against Tomozaki. She offers to teach him the hacks of turning life into a good game.
