Boruto Episode 257, Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Despite not being as exciting as we anticipated from the previews, episode 256 of Boruto was still charming, humorous, and entertaining. Though they were supposed to be motivated by their inadequacy, Inojin and Chocho quickly forgot about it.

It took a while to get anything done in some segments, while others occurred quickly. Although Jingo’s ramen recipe isn’t perfect, it was entertaining to watch him go through the whole process.

It is the turn of yet another new character for next week’s episode, and this time around it will be Konohamaru. He will ask his honorary brother to help him out, as he was supposed to be in a movie. The outcome of the episode may be more interesting than episode 256 of Boruto, so we will have to wait and see.

Here are the latest updates.

Episode 257 Speculation

Episode 257 of Boruto is titled, “Konohamaru Becomes The Hokage?”  We saw that Naruto will be joining Kagemasa for the film’s premiere. Naruto, however, will not attend the shooting due to other duties and promises he has, such as playing with his daughter.

Who could take his place better than Konohamru? In this episode, there will be some lighthearted gag scenes interspersed. These are merely speculations. It is impossible to predict what will happen in the upcoming episode.

Episode 257 Release Date

Episode 257 of the Boruto anime, titled “Konohamaru Becomes The Hokage?”, has been released on Sunday, Jul 10, 2022.

1. Is Boruto on Break This Week?

No, episode 257 of Boruto is not on break this week. The episode will be released as per schedule.

Episode 256 Recap

The episode opened with Chocho and Inojin being impressed with Boruto and his team after surviving a war-like scenario and encountering the Funato Clan. Inojin and Chocho understandably feel that they are inadequate compared to the rest of the young ninjas.

Their peers are not in the same position as them, in my opinion. Chunin like Shikadai are very intelligent, which means they’re sent on missions with other powerful ninjas. Meanwhile, their Genin-level Chocho and Inojin are left idle until Shikadai returns from a mission and continues to lead the team.

As Chocho and Inojin, I liked how they pondered whether or not Shikadai was holding them back because they didn’t become Chunin and weren’t as competent as Shikadai. What if Shikadai had a different team of teammates? Would he advance more quickly?

The Hidden Leaf Village is being raided by thieves who are trying to steal valuable scientific data, but Inojin and Chocho must also locate a rogue ninja called Jingo inside.

Jingo was declared a wanted criminal as a result of a misunderstanding. The best ramen ever turned out to be the result of him simply grabbing a bunch of items around the village and putting them together to make it. Chocho and Inojin were helped by Jingo’s goal because they were feeling inadequate.

Everything and everyone in the story played a specific role. Whether each team member is on the same skill level or not, effective teamwork comes down to how they complement one another.

Konoha considered Shikadai a valuable asset once he became a Chunin. As part of Team 10, Chocho and Inojin did not lack something unique. Team 10 showcased teamwork-focused strategies well due to their combination of personalities and skills.

‘The Ultimate Recipe’ begins with a new opening sequence featuring Boruto sparring with Team 10. I hope this signals that we will get more episodes showcasing Chocho, Shikadai, and Inojin. Chocho is always humorous whenever he appears on the screen.

It was the same way Teuchi used to care for and stand up for child Naruto decades ago when Jingo’s love for ramen sprang from Teuchi’s kind nature. It would have been better if Jingo had revealed Naruto as the mystery ramen critic he aimed to impress for his ramen shop.
