As soon as he’s finished talking, Shikamaru provides an update on what happened to the Funato army and its leaders. Since Boruto does not consider Ikada to be a villain, he asks his father to contact Chojuro for him.

They then argue over their differing opinions about the war, resulting in an argument between Boruto and Kawaki.

Team 5 catches up with Kawaki once he has left. Denki and Metal stop him from getting into an argument with Iwabee. Chojuro ponders the events that transpired during the war, back at the Hidden Mist.

The funato received significant support, Misuno tells him. Therefore, they shouldn’t punish him harshly right away.

 Naruto and Boruto converse about the war as father and son. He tells his son that he feels the same way as him. Boruto then further receives Naruto’s advice to make up with Kawaki.

Kawaki is being monitored by Mitsuki. As Mitsuki says, Boruto has influenced Kawaki in a positive way. Kawaki blames Mitsuki for that. On the other hand, Buntan and Kyoho visit the graves of Kagura and Hebiichigo.

Buntan is leaving for the Hidden Mist, and Kyoho will remain. They say their goodbyes before he goes. Meanwhile, Chojuro discusses his punishment with Ikada.

As a result of the nation’s rapid development, Chojuro recognizes the problems caused by it. Ikada’s punishment is strict surveillance through Kajiki, Chojuro’s method of punishment.

Then, Boruto meets with Sarada. Sarada nudges them to patch things up after encountering Kawaki. They fight, but it ends up being physical. The others watch as Sarada and Boruto watch the battle until they both become weary. Naruto offers to take them for ramen after they have made up.
