Episode 227 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations starts with Sarada feeling weird about the whole becoming captain thing. It would also mean that Konohamaru will no longer assist them on missions.
In the meantime, news reaches them that Mirai has been found poisoned and unconscious. Hyogo of a hundred faces has taken Konohamaru and the young couple hostage. Will team 7 be able to save their captain?
Episode 228 Speculations
Sarada, Wasabi, Denki, and Houki have officially been made chin in and captains of their respective teams. Fans can’t help but feel only Houki deserved the title since most others became captains of their teams only because other members could not fight.
We are still waiting on seeing some Code action, and hopefully, the next episode will show a big of that.

Episode 227 Recap
Sarada seems to have mixed feelings about becoming a chunin because now she will be team 7’s captain. On top of that, it means Konohamaru will no longer have anything to do with them.
Boruto and Mitsuki assure her that is not the case. Besides, the captain ceremony isn’t taking place anytime soon. They decide to have a meal with Konohamaru, but he’s nowhere to be found.
Konohamaru has been sent on a mission to show a couple around, who want to move to their village. Soon news comes that Mirai has been poisoned and found unconscious on the outskirts.
Konohamaru and the young couple have been captured by Hyogo the hundred faces. He tortures Konohamaru for information on Konoha’s sensory system.
Team 7 is dispatched to rescue Konohamaru and others. After they assess the situation, a beautiful woman appears on the scene. A thick fog sets over them, and Sarada and Mitsuki free Konohamaru.
The two beat up the bad guys, and the beautiful woman transforms into Boruto. The four of them catch Hyogo, and considering this will be their last mission together, Konohamaru gets emotional.
In the chunin ceremony, Sarada is officially announced as the captain of team 7.
