The raw scans for chapter 74 “Baptism” are now out. The chapter starts off with Eida arriving at Konoha Village and all the Leaf shinobi greet her at the station. Sai and a few other shinobi get attracted to her.
Shikamaruseems more composed and has a brief conversation with Eida, noticing Daemon with her. Eida then flies off to her dorm with Daemon. Shikamaru then meets Amado and demands answers to all his questions.
Sarada points out that Eida’s awareness and abilities make the purpose of surveillance pointless. Shikadai, Inojin, and Cho-Cho are excited to see Eida. When Eida appears, Inojin, Cho-Cho, Mitsuki get affected by her charms.
At the staying house, Boruto and Kawaki are in the living room where Konohamaru tries to make them get along. When Eida arrives, Konohamaru gets affected as well, and resisting it causes him to collapse.
Daemon jumps onto Boruto and asks for a piggyback, adding that he will beat them up if they harm Eida. Kawaki tries to attack him but it gets repelled and Daemon knocks Kawaki out. Boruto then attacks but he gets knocked out too. When he wakes up, he notices Eida caressing Kawaki’s head on her lap.

5. Chapter 73 Recap
A mission only Team 7 could handle was summoned by Shikamaru immediately. It wasn’t exactly what the protagonist had expected, despite his excitement. In particular, Eida prompted the call for Team 7.
The negotiations Amado carried out with Eida and Daemon were terrific. Daemon’s fighting abilities are far greater than Code’s, despite Code’s removal of his limiters.

Using his Rinnegan abilities, Sasuke listened to what Momoshiki said when he first spoke to Boruto. As mentioned in the latest chapter, Sasuke seems to be referring to that moment. The presence of Momoshiki was confirmed in this chapter.
It can be concluded that Sasuke’s Rinnegan abilities were not lost as a result of this incident. Though the series has not discussed the possibility, the remnants of Sasuke’s Rinnegan chakra may explain why he was able to utilize some of his Rinnegan abilities.
As indicated in the manga, Boruto hasn’t shown all his abilities. It will be fascinating to see his strength without one of the most potent eyes he ever had.
