In the very same chapter, Eida told Code that only her blood relatives are immune to her ability; this clearly hints that there must be someone related to her by blood. These two events can mean only one thing, Eida is actually Amado’s daughter.

After all, Amado is the greatest scientist of the entire Shinobi world. It’s only normal for him to turn his daughter into an overpowered cyborg instead of letting her die in the hands of Jigen.

Meanwhile, Boruto will be reconsidering Kawaki’s plan of capturing Code and making him the vessel. A task like this is easy to say than being done, but they definitely will give it a shot.

5. Recap of Chapter 57

I. The Cyborg who Knows Everything

Code slice opens the capsule where Eida was held captive. She appears before Code like a goddess, and despite his strong intent, Code fails to lay a finger on Eida.

Code’s initial plan was to make use of Eida’s abilities to take his revenge on Naruto, Sasuke, and Kawaki. He believed that with Eida’s knowledge, he can remove the limiters in his body that restrict his powers.

But the tables turn completely when Code gets captivated by Eida’s presence. She tells Code about her ability, due to which both men and women fall for her.

Such power is more like a curse than blessing, because she will never get to know who loves her genuinely. She further comments that only Otsutsukis and her blood relatives are immune to her ability.

Don’t get upset yet; that’s not the only power that made her so special. She is clairvoyant, which means she can see everything that’s happening in every corner of the world.

For example, she knows what the 5 Kages are talking about even when she is miles away from them. Having her by your side is like having a CCTV camera that covers the whole world.

Not only that, she can even see through time. She can see what happened in the past, but not the events before her birth. All these make Eida one of the most formidable enemies that Konoha has ever faced.

II. The Five Kage Summit

Meanwhile, at the Five Kage Summit, the leaders of the great nations address the threat that Code and Kara pose to the Shinobi world. Konoha has sent patrols to locate Kara’s base, but it wasn’t of much help since the base is in a separate dimension.

Shikamaru speculates the possible motives of Code behind his hostile actions, just what you expect from the sharpest brain of Konoha.

According to him, Code seeks revenge on Naruto and Sasuke for Isshiki’s death and wants to cultivate the Divine tree from Ten-tails.

However, Gara is more concerned about the return of Momoshiki Otsutsuki through Boruto’s karma.

He doubts if Naruto can take down his own son if she goes out of control. (It seems Gara’s past experience when Sauke went rogue is responsible for his strong suspicion.)

Naruto agrees to do whatever is necessary for the protection of the Shinobi world. He refuses to believe that his son can turn into a monster any day.

III. Boruto Gets a Medicine

Even if Naruto doesn’t want to believe it, the fact is Boruto is gradually heading towards a complete Otsutsukification, and he needs to do something about it.

He asks for Amado’s help, but even the world’s greatest scientist doesn’t have much to offer in this matter. He gives Naruto some pills that were originally created to suppress Byakugan and are expected to slow down Otsutsukification.

However, it may cause undesirable side effects that can lead to poor eyesight and even death in the worst-case scenario. Despite the risk, Naruto decides to give it a shot.

Will these pills be of any help to Boruto? Or will it worsen Boruto’s condition? Time is running out, and Naruto needs to come up with an idea to save his son before it’s too late.
