The Soul Reapers hope got destroyed by the end in episode 3 of Bleach TYBW Cour 2, titled “The Fundamental Virulence.”
It was all a win-win for the Shinigamis throughout the entire episode, but unfortunately, Yhwach didn’t let them rejoice for long. With the help of Urahara, the Soul Reapers got their Bankai back.
However, it looks like even that won’t be of much use anymore. The destruction and chaos continue as Ichigo is still inside the dark alley. Fans got to see their beloved Shinji’s long-awaited Bankai. Although he got to use it for a short span, it was still amazing.

The Sternritters will destroy the Soul Reapers in episode 4 of Bleach TYBW Cour 2, titled “Heart of Wolf.”
Now, only external help will bring any hope for the Soul Reapers. Sajin will engage with Bambietta again. He has become very strong, but will it be enough to stop this mischievous Sternritter?
We can expect the entry of some other Soul Reapers, the ones who were in the healing process until now. Ichigo saw something terrible in Irazusando. From what can be deciphered, it looked like the Soul King would soon be in trouble.

3. Episode 3 Recap
Bazz-B puts Toshiro down. Cang Du shows up, telling him to leave Toshiro. Bazz-B is not ready to let him steal his kill. Cang Du reminds Bazz about Yhwach’s order.
Cang Du launches Toshiro’s Bankai. Mayuri gets a message from Urahara that he has found the method to reclaim lost Bankai. Mayuri is not ready to listen to him, but Urahara shows up in person.
He asks Mayuri to let the research institute use his lab. There, he shows Mayuri Shineiyaku small pills and explains to him how he came up with a way to reclaim Bankai, using Arrnacar’s resurrection as an example.
The existence of Hollows is poisonous for Quinces, and because of this, they exterminate Hollows. The pills let the Bankai Hollowfy, weakening the Quincies and returning the Bankai back to the master.
Toshiro and Soi Feng get their Bankai back. Soi blows up BG9 with her Bankai. Cang continuously attacks Toshiro but is unable to do any damage. Toshiro gets all of Hyorinmaru back.
He destroys Cang but faints moments later. Hirako Shinji unleashes his Bankai, forcing the enemies to kill themselves. Hisagi Shuuhei, Ikkaku, and Yumichika come across De Masculine Mask.
Bambietta is frustrated after losing Sajin’s Bankai. While she is fretting about her frustration, her companions leave her and go somewhere else. She gets even more angry and starts destroying stuff around her.
Sajin shows up. However, he is not interested in fighting her. She is not ready to let him go. Shinji shows up, attacking her with his Zanpakuto. She fails to cope with it as everything, even Shinji’s words, feels reversed.
Shuuhei and Ikkaku also manage to cause some damage to Masculine Mask. However, suddenly, Yhwach gives all the Sternritters some power, letting Sternritters get back on their feet, stronger than ever.
