Toshiro and Soi get cornered in episode 2 of Bleach TYBW Cour 2, titled “Peace from Shadows.”
It was an intense episode with lots of blood and blasts. The Sternritters are still unmatched in strength and technique. Jugram and the others spread around Seireitei while Yhwach was chilling somewhere, watching all the destruction and chaos.
Jugram met Shunsui, and they had some gentlemanly talks without crossing blades. Toshiro and Soi put up a good fight in the beginning, but unfortunately, they failed once again.

Urahara will tell the technique to regain Bankai in episode 3 of Bleach TYBW Cour 2, titled “The Fundamental Virulence.”
The Sternritters’ attacks will get fiercer and more brutal in the upcoming episode. There will be no stopping the havoc they have ensued. Urahara’s message has come in as a ray of hope.
Bambietta Basterbine will go after Sajin Komamura. Cang Du will use Toshiro’s Bankai to kill Toshiro and Matsumoto. Urahara will make a grand entry to the Research Institute. The captains will regain their Bankai, restarting their battles.

3. Episode 2 Recap
Jugram sits with his fellow Sternritters and orders them to annihilate all the captains using their stolen Bankai. Yhwach tells Ishida the story behind this invasion’s success.
He says that when the Quincies were defeated, they hid in the Soul Society. They made a hidden city with their Reishi that they called the Wandenreich. Askin Nakk Le Vaar appears in the Research and Development Institute, claiming that their invasion was successful.
Jugram shows up before Shunsui, saying that they were already inside the Soul Shield Membrane thanks to their Reishi. Jugram and Shunsui introduce themselves to each other, along with mentioning their designation.
People in the research institute get restless and panic because of Askin’s sudden appearance. He tells them that he has always been present there. Suddenly, a gate opens, and out comes Mayuri with Nemu, both wearing shining costumes.
Mayuri tells him that he rebuilt his laboratory so that there is no space for the Sternritters to invade him. Bazz-B meets with Toshiro, and they get ready to face each other.
Marechiyo Omaeda prepares to leave, but his sister doesn’t want him to go. He tries to convince her that his going out to fight is necessary. Suddenly, BG9 shows up there. He was the one who stole Soi Fon’s Bankai.
Toshiro and Bazz-B have a massive fight. Rangiku comes in to help Toshiro. Together, they create ice that Bazz is unable to melt. Toshiro fires a large crystal-ice attack at Bazz, throwing the latter far off.
Shunsui and Jugram are kept apart with a wall created by Nanoa using her Kido. BK9 tortures Omaeda and asks him about his captain. He refuses to tell. BK9 attacks his sister, but he takes the blow himself.
Soi saves Maeda at the right time. BK9 is quite impressed by Soi’s increased strength in a short amount of time. Soi launches a quick attack on him.
Slowly, the fights between Soi and BK9 and Toshiro and Bazz-B start changing tides. Toshiro’s ice is unable to stop Bazz anymore. BK9 outmatches Soi’s pace.
Bazz pierces a hole in Toshiro’s chest. Toshiro tries to trap Bazz in various ways, but nothing works, and Bazz slices him with just two fingers. Mayuri notices the disappearance of the spiritual energy of Soi and Toshiro.
Out of nowhere, he gets a message from Urahara, claiming he has completed the method to reclaim Bankai.
In the post-credit scene, Ichigo continues to walk through a dark alley which Ichibei reveals is called Irazusando.
