Black Clover Episode 128 – Release Date, Where to Watch, Updates

Due to the ill-pacing of the anime, it had come too close to the latest chapter of the manga. Hence we saw a month’s worth of filler episodes.

However, it looks like the anime is ready to step into the next arc. Both episodes 126 and 127 dealt with the information about devils & their curses. And it looks like our magic knights will be traveling to the Heart Kingdom very soon!

1. Episode 128 Title & Release Date

Black Clover, episode 128, will be titled “To The Heart Kingdom!” and will be releasing on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020. In the next chapter, Asta & the team will be traveling to the Heart Kingdom in order to gather more information on devils & their curses.

2. Episode 128 Preview & Speculation

The preview for the episode shows Finral and Asta going to the Heart Kingdom. Nero, Mimosa & Noelle accompany them. The preview shows them on a boar in an unspecified lake and with a person who is likely from the Heart Kingdom.

If the anime follows the events of the manga, Asta, Noelle, Finral, and Mimosa will be going to the Heart Kingdom to meet the Princess Lolopechka.

They will be attacked by Gaja to “test their strengths,” and will then be greeted by the princess and her water spirit — Undine.

4. Episode 127 Plot

Black Clover, episode 127, titled “Clues,” was released recently. The episode showed two significant events from the manga. Asta, Gauche, Grey, and Gordon visit the Agrippa Family where they learn about the name of the devil — Megicula, and about the curses of devils. They also learn that a devil cursed Henry.

Gordon’s father, Nathan Agrippa, tells them about an extremely vicious curse in the Heart Kingdom, after which they decide to travel there.

The second event was, Noelle went to see Dorothy Unsworth upon learning that her mother, Acier Silva, was actually killed by a devil. Dorothy tells Noelle about the same devil, i.e., Megicula, who put the curse on her mother, Acier, which eventually took her life.

5. About Black Clover

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16th, 2015, and has been collected into 22 tankōbon volumes.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
