The five Ryuzen Seven members present have now supposedly defeated the five-headed dragon by crushing each of its heads in a single motion. Sister Lily, whose horn was severed by Kezokaku Ginnojomorifuyu but has since grown back, unexpectedly materializes by her side and asks Ichika if her group can avoid the upcoming attack.
Lily and Heath Grice use Endless Ice Fangs, a combination spatial-ice magic technique. Next to each of the Ryuzen Seven, a star-like cluster of ice erupts, entangling everything in its icicle-like spikes.
Kezokaku casts Beast Magic: Bogeyman, a colossal frog, materializes in front of Kezokaku. Next to Yrul, a little Gremlin-like creature with black skin and white eyes has emerged.
He reveals that the Bogeyman gives opponents’ terrifying memories physical shape by reawakening them. Then, with a bottle of alcohol in one hand and a katana in the other, Ichika sees her father appear in front of her. He seems to be intoxicated.
Ichika suddenly relives new memories from her youth, and she notices her father speaking to Yami Suinsists if they are her memories. He claims they will use demon soul pills to restore the Yami clan’s honor. He calls it the clan’s secret drug and adds that it increases the desire to kill and awakens dormant yoryoku.
After taking the medication, Ichika is seen in the following panel being chased away by individuals who are pleading with her not to “do it.” It is demonstrated that the present-day Ichika is aware of what is happening. A large number of dead bodies surround Ichika.
A flashback shows her father praising her for being strong and genuinely being his daughter. It is revealed that she was the one that killed the clan.
Ryuya is heard saying that it would be terrible to tell Ichika the truth about what happened. Back in the present, Ichika appears devastated by this information, doubting that memory and expressing what seems to be skepticism that she is the one who murdered the entire Yami clan.
The five-headed dragon is seen rising again with all of its heads intact as Sister Lily advises them to go to sleep for the time being. Ichika is suddenly confronted by a vision of a younger Sukehiro who deflects her father’s blow.
When Asta arrives to save the day, she immediately shouts out for her “big brother” before realizing it is Asta who has come. Asta queries the representation of her father about what he intends to do to his “benefactor.”
