Chapter 333 of Black Clover begins with Lucius Zogratis reflecting upon his life. He was born as an exceptional being who has two souls in one body. He possessed the greatest devil-host potential in his bloodline’s history.
They bound a supreme devil, Astaroth of temporal magic, to themselves in order to discover their true purpose in the world.
He got a flashback to the time when he and Julius Novachrono interacted. Lucius seemed to have dominated the body, exploiting Lucius and his potential for his own gain.

Asta claims that he will stop him and save Julius since Lucius is an evil being that has taken over Julius’ body.
Asta unleashes his devil power undoing Lucius’s magic. Everyone resumed.
The story finishes with Asta scribbling his words in order to surpass the wizard king right there and then.
