We finally saw the epic level of Naruto x Kurama duo again with Asta x Liebe in chapter 270, who must now defeat Nacht in chapter 271 of Black Clover to become the ultimate warriors!
Black Clover, by Yuki Tabata, is one of the hottest manga these days. It is often believed to be a part of “New Big Three” alongside My Hero Academia and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Chapter 270, titled “Together,” was truly a masterpiece by Tabata sensei, but I am sure 271 will be far better!
In the next chapter, Asta and Liebe will learn to fight in sync in order to master their true powers and reach new heights! While Noelle will be training with Patry as Yuno does some training of his own! The most epic battle is just around the corner. Let’s see what can happen in chapter 271.
Chapter 271 Raw Scans
The raw scans and spoilers for chapter 271 of the Black Clover manga have been leaked and the rough translation goes like this:
Nacht has gone into “Unite Mode: Canis” (unofficial translation) and the battle has begun! Asta also goes into Unite Mode as we can see Liebe appearing on his shoulders in chibi form just like Nacht’s Gimodelo.
Asta is fighting with Nacht’s “shadow dogs” during most of the chapter as he learns the bits and bytes of this new form. He realizes that the shadows have the same ki as Nacht; he must now defeat the caster to undo the spell.
Asta begins to try and land a hit on Nacht using Yami’s katana and finally manages to do so by the end of the chapter; he names Yami’s katana, “The Devil Killer.”
Chapter 271 Predictions
I. Asta x Liebe vs. Nacht
Chapter 270 ends with Nacht revealing his dashing ‘Three Musketeers’ form, which is probably the strongest in the Black Clover yet! It was so good that all three of us (of course, Asta, Liebe, and me) were dumbstruck!
Asta x Liebe duo will likely spend the rest of the next chapter (and maybe the one after that) trying to learn this form or a way to counter it. However, it won’t be long before we see Asta finally surpassing Nacht and getting a step closer on his path to becoming the Wizard King!
II. The Ultimate Magic!
I know I know! It has nothing to do with Asta’s battle with the devil but you have to admit, you cannot not talk about the Ultimate magic.
Even though the Noelle-squad survived Vanica’s devastating spell, we know they are not nearly strong enough to go head-to-head with the menacing devil, let alone beat her, especially considering the strength Yami and Asta had to unleash to defeat Dante.
However, if the leader of elves says he can, I believe him! As to what this special and known-to-a-few magic spell, Ultimate magic, is – I have a considerable theory.
We know how much elves are loved by mana, and the power brought upon by natural mana has been shown on many occasions around Gaja, Lolopechka, and even Licht himself.
Therefore, just like Mana Skin had an upgrade (Mana Zone), Ultimate magic will likely be a much-advanced form of using natural mana and creating arrays.
Chapter 271 Release Info
It is published under Shonen Jump magazine, a weekly magazine that comes out every Sunday. Black Clover manga is not on a break this week and will be released as per schedule.

Chapter 270 Recap
Chapter 270, titled “Together,” starts with Asta punching Liebe as he falls back, and the former declares his victory – “I win!!!” With this victory, Asta has now defeated Liebe, who is now lying down with chains all around his body and waiting for Asta to complete the ritual.
Nacht then asks Asta to command his devil and make Liebe his servant, to which Asta refuses and proposes an “arrangement of equal standing” or friendship. While Nacht and Liebe think this is ridiculous and unprecedented, Asta goes on to explain his reason:
As I said so before, he’s the reason I have been able to fight all this time! It’s just even though we have been together all along, I didn’t know anything, and I want to know more about him…This guy wasn’t fighting seriously at all…he was holding back.
You can hate or be sad for somebody, right? In that case, we can get along! LET’S CRUSH THE BAD GUYS!! TOGETHER!!!
Asta’s Monologue
Nacht and Gimodelo call him a moron, followed by the most epic moment when Liebe stands up and shakes hands with Asta as he realizes he is the son of Lichita and Liebe’s step-brother of sorts.
Nacht claims that while the choice may seem foolhardy, it was indeed the correct one. Now both of them must defeat Nacht in his full power if Asta is to become the ULTIMATE WARRIOR!
