Black Clover Chapter 246 Reveals The Vice-Captain Of The Black Bull Magic Knights Squad

Black Clover is the story of Asta, a magicless kid in a magical world and his rival Yuno, the childhood prodigy, both aiming to become the next Wizard King.

After becoming Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom, Asta joined the supposedly weakest and lowest of all squads — Black Bulls.

However, since Asta and Noelle’s joining, Black Bulls have come so far in such a small amount of time — so much that they ranked #2 at the Star Festival.

While the anime is focused mostly on this squad, there is one looming question about the Bulls that is shrouded in mystery. Who is the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls?

DISCLAIMER: This post may contain spoilers from chapter 246 of the Black Clover manga.

Well, worry not, chapter 246 of the manga has taken its first step towards revealing the long-awaited character. Chapter 246 of the Black Clover manga, titled “The Tree of Qliphoth,” came out today and needless to say, it gave a pretty massive shock to all of us.

black bull vice-captain

Black Clover chapter 246 reveals a Magic Knight who is working as a spy in the Spade Kingdom. This spy dorns the robe of Black Bulls and is the user of Shadow magic. While there is no confirmation, he/she is highly speculated to be the vice-captain of Black Bulls.

The raw scans show a mysterious man looming in Dante’s chamber as a Spade Kingdom soldier discovers him. The soldier identifies the thief as the “Clover Kingdom spy.”

In a matter of a few seconds, he/she manages to vanish out of thin air and appear in the shadow of the soldier. Panel ends with the soldier being sucked into the shadow by the mysterious spy.

The next panel shows that the spy is wearing a Black Bulls robe and has a Clover Kingdom grimoire. He/she is most likely to be the much-awaited captain of Black Bulls. I believe that she is the same mysterious silhouette from chapter 004 of the manga when Yami introduced Asta to the Black Bulls.
