Chapter 321 of Black Clover frightened fans due to Asta’s wounded condition. Yet, our hero rises and gets ready to help Yuno.
In the upcoming chapter, Tabata-sensei is sure to serve us with Asta and Yuno teaming up against Lucifero. Can Asta really fight in his state? Or will Lucifero send him flying just like Nozel?
The latest chapter took some time off from the battlefield and focused on Sekke. He has finally realized how much stronger everyone around him has become while he was busy frolicking.
Now, this could either be a build-up to a new power-up for Sekke or the hairband guy just received a death flag. Will Sekke try to sacrifice himself for Asta or Yuno in the next chapter?
I doubt he will die though since we haven’t seen any major deaths so far in the arc.
Meanwhile, chibi Liebe has passed out on Asta’s shoulder, and I love Tabata-sensei for adding that little detail. You can’t blame the little guy for getting tired, it’s his first real battle in God knows how long.
With Liebe and Asta both utterly exhausted, I am not sure how they will win. Yuno has also realized by now how great the difference is between his and the devil’s strength.
Mereoleona is still fighting, but I can’t be sure of the other captains. One thing is for sure that anti-magic is capable of dealing damage to the slap-loving devil, but is Asta powerful enough at the moment?
I hope Asta and Yuno can find a way to combine their magic to defeat Lucifero in the next chapter.
