Black Clover Ch 314: Black Bulls Unite Against their Strongest Foe Yet

Chapter 314 of Black Clover showed the ultimate devil opening up the Tree of Qliphoth’s second door. Still, fear not because all of the Black Bulls have become one to face Lucifero and save the day (literally).

This time, Yuno, Noelle, or Asta won’t have to fight all alone. All the magic knights, as well as their respective squads, are there to back them up.

Lucifero’s plan turns out to be more complicated than before. Individual devils were still vulnerable, but I guess the ultimate devil has had enough of such games.

Lucifero has already squeezed out the last drops of life from Morris and is ready to manifest. In order to incarnate, he starts molding all the devils into a solidified mass to form a vessel.

All those solidified devils make the grossest scene ever, but I guess Lucifero doesn’t mind, as long as he manifests.

The very last page of the chapter shows the Black Bulls unified into some sort of a Megazord to fight against Lucifero. The change was so sudden that I double-checked to see if I had just entered an entirely new genre.

All the Black Bulls members used their individual powers coupled with matter conversion to turn the Black Bulls’ hideout castle into a massive machine for destruction.

If Lucifero has to manifest through other devils, then at least it still limits his powers since his actual body is still in the underworld. Although a kaiju fight was unexpected, I’m just glad to see that the team has figured out a way to fight the devil in style.
