After a stellar debut, Bastard!! anime gained instant fame despite being a remake of a classic. What’s more, the show wasn’t just good but even better than the original.
The show is divided into two cours, with the first one already out on Netflix for you to binge on. Part 1 blew our minds with an epic yet tragic end, leaving us on a brutal cliffhanger of Dark Schneider’s demise.
Although, there’s no need to worry as Netflix’s latest trailer for ‘Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy’ shows Schneider alive, well, and crazier than before.
Part 2, consisting of episodes 14-24, is scheduled to debut on September 15, 2022. Since it’s Netflix, we’ll be getting all of the episodes dumped on us at once.
Coming to the trailer, it starts with Schneider being as arrogant as ever, with him declaring that he’s the extremely handsome and immortal protagonist. It continues with the sorcerer displaying his crazy power while people are shocked at the news of his reincarnation.
Filled with hair-raising action, the trailer gives a glimpse of what awaits us in the upcoming episodes.
Besides Schneider and his allies, the video provides a good view of this cour’s antagonists, Kall-Su and Abigail. Both of them used to be part of Dark Schneider’s Four Divine Kings and were his loyal allies.
Do you think Kall-Su and Abigail would join Schneider again like how Gara and Arshes Nei did? I think Kall-Su would, but I’m not so sure about Abigail.
