Bushiroad’s multimedia music franchise BanG Dream! launched several projects last year – a Morfonica anime series, a Poppin’Party anime film, and even a new band MyGO!!!!!. The new band is almost a year old since its official announcement.
After a concert in July and the release of their first single, “Mayoiuta” in November, the band will now have its own anime series.
On Sunday, at the “MyGO!!!!! 4th Live” concert, the band announced that an anime about them would arrive this summer. The title is revealed to be BanG Dream! It’s My GO!!!!!.
The video shows all five band members, revealing their voice artists. In the end, they also announce their next live show.

The formal unveiling of the anime project will be held on May 24, and the cast and staff will be present.
“MyGO!!!!! 5th Live” concert will be held at KT Zepp Yokohama on August 12.
SANZIGEN will produce the animation with Koudai Kakimoto as the director for the series. Yuniko Ayana is writing the scripts. The opening song has also been revealed, which is “Hitoshizuku”, one of the band’s singles.
BanG Dream! is already popular enough among those who love the musical or idol genre. It does remind me of Kyoka Jiro’s performance in Season 4 of My Hero Academia, but this sounds more professional and has got a higher tempo.

The main cast of the BanG Dream! comprises seven bands of five members each.
The protagonist of the series is the band Poppin Party, which debuted in 2015, followed by debuts of Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Roselia, Hello, Happy World!, Raise A Suilen, and Morfonica.
The members of the bands are the voice actors to the characters and hold concerts.
