Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Tekken 7 is the ninth fighting game in the Tekken series.
U.S Bandai Namco Entertainment announced through Twitter that Tekken 7 would launch a fourth season that will introduce free updates such as new moves for the entire set of characters, many online and UI modifications, as well as a “Tekken Prowess” ranking system.
The announcement of season four was accompanied by a trailer.
The most exciting part of the announcement that has the popular game’s fans all excited is the return of everybody’s favorite ninja, Kunimitsu. However, in the trailer, it appears that it is Kunimitsu’s daughter!
In the season 4 trailer, we see Kunimitsu, or rather her daughter, wearing the iconic cat-shaped mask as she is seen playing an instrument before having an epic fight with her opponent in what also appears to be a new location.
The new season also brings with it a new stage called ‘Red Gates.’
Towards the end of the trailer, Kunimitsu’s daughter remarks that it was her mother who had warned her about her opponent, though it seemed like a waste of time.
Surprisingly, she removes her mask to reveal her face and says that the blade now belongs to her.
Tekken 7 fans are in for a treat as the trailer also revealed that the second quarter of 2021 will introduce a currently-unrevealed new Tekken 7 character and yet another new stage!
The official release date for Tekken 7’s season 4 has been announced to release in the fall of 2020, but we are yet to receive a specific date.
Tekken 7 takes place shortly after the final events of Tekken 6, which gives rise to the final battle between martial artist Heihachi Mishima and his rebellious son, Kazuya.
