Baki’s plot demands adrenaline elevating theme songs, and the new OP and ED have passed with flying grades in the matter.

Netflix is premiering Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre on September 30, 2021, with 12 episodes. The battle between Baki and his father will finally be revealed.

New music videos for the ending and opening themes have been released by the series. The opening theme Treasure Pleasure by GRANRODEO has been unveiled.

The rock-style OP suits the anime as it introduces all the new characters who will come into play in season 3. The characters and their sinister facial expressions did make me laugh a bit, but hey, it suits the song at least.

The ending theme, Unchained World, by GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE has also released a music video:

Anime “Baki Hanma” Non-credit ED “Unchained World” GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE │ “BAKI HANMA” Ending (2021)

It is a dance track with suitable scenes that complement each other quite well. The music video shows Baki breaking through chains, almost as if he is freeing himself of his restraints.

Both GRANRODEO and GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE have done excellent performances which are in sync with the anime.

The sequel series will cover the Arizona State Prison arc before it commences the fight with Yujiro. I look forward to Baki’s adrenaline-pumping action scenes once again, and this time, with the fantastic theme songs in tow.
