Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre anime’s last episode ended with the burning question: Is Baki Yujiro’s rival now?
You might think defeating Oliva was a ticket to fight Yujiro, but that isn’t the case. Yujiro is powerful enough to defeat an entire army alone and his punches are sometimes compared to nuclear explosions.

Baki is yet to face some more opponents before he can come face to face with Yujiro. In fact, his next opponent was teased in episode 12 of Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre.
The next person he will challenge is Pickle, the primitive man who was preserved in a saline formation while fighting a T-Rex. Now that Baki has defeated the strongest man in the USA, his next opponents will be even more fierce.
Even after the impressive shadow boxing feat that Baki achieved, he needs to develop his skills even more.
In the finale of the Great Prison Battle Saga, Baki defeated Oliva with pure strength and no fancy technique. This also speaks volumes about his development as he defeated a man whose body seems almost as if it’s made of pure iron, with brute force.
Soon Baki will fight Pickle and then before long face Yujiro in their final battle. Will Baki be able to defeat him? Or will Yujiro remain the strongest creature alive?
