After Attack on Titan Season 4 completed the run of Episode 75, fans were greeted with a pleasant surprise! A second part, or more precisely, Episode 76 of AOT, has finally been confirmed! Season 4 was promoted as the “Final Season” of AOT, but clearly, the story is nowhere near the end. The anime has still not adapted the entire manga yet, and certainly, the colossal anime in question shouldn’t end without a proper ending.
Attack on Titan tells the story of a world infested with titans, massive, lumbering humanoid monsters that appeared suddenly one day and devoured most of the world’s population. This caused the remains of humanity to take refuge behind the giant walls of the capital city.
Season 4 perfectly flips the perspective of this war-torn world and focuses on Marley, the huge military empire that controls the seven Titans’ powers. It also puts an emphasis on Reiner and the warrior candidates. The finale ends with a foot-biting battle between Eren and a Titan, which also drew a parallel from the past!
From the titular Titans to humans’ perpetual struggle, Attack on Titan has become a legendary, must-watch-before-you-die anime.
1. Release Date
Season 4, Part 2 of Attack on Titan, will release in Winter 2022. Episode 17 of Season 4 was announced a few hours after the finale of Part 1. This news wasn’t much of a shocker since the story of Eren, and his comrades is still not complete, and there had to be some sort of continuation to the series.
The duration of Part 2 is still unknown. However, we can expect 13-14 episodes to cover the remaining manga. The wait for Part 2 is going to be a long one, but it’s definitely going to be worth it!
2. Visuals and Trailers
A short promo was released announcing the continuation of the series in Winter 2022. The video teased us with some exciting things, featuring a potentially new character who seems to be a young girl drowning. We then transition to a collage of moments from the previous seasons, Part 1, and finally, we see a message announcing the confirmation of Episode 76 in Winter 2022.
