Episode 9 Recap
Noint greets Hajime as the “Irregular” and tells him that she is God Ehit’s apostle. Liliana is taking everyone through a hallway to meet up with Shizuku. There’s a loud explosion, and Liliana understands this must be the result of their barrier-breaking.
Yue asks the others to go off without her because she has unfinished business with the demon king and his dragon. Shea says she wants to teach him a lesson for hurting Hajime, too.
Hajime asks Tio to help him since he can’t fight Noint while holding Aiko-sensei. The demon king tries to burn Yue and Shea with dragon fire, but Yue creates a portal to direct the fire at him.
The demon king’s subordinate calls them murderers because they killed Cattleya. They attack the two girls, and Shea decides to split up.
Yue creates a portal for Shea and her attackers and sends them away. Shea acknowledges that she killed her opponent’s beloved, but she isn’t ready to hear sob stories about the people she has killed.
Shea defeats him, and as he dies, he calls her a monster. She is ecstatic that she was named a monster, meaning she’s caught up to the rest of her team. She gets back to Yue and finds that the demon king has retreated.
Hajime is defending against Noint’s hellfire tsunami magic. He hears faint singing noises and then finds his magic weakened bit by bit. Hajime says Lord Ehit might be the God worshipped by the demons.
Hajime says that if he is in Ehit’s way, they could send him back to his world. Noint says Ehit wants Hajime dead, so she can’t let him go. Tio arrives and breathes fire onto her, and Hajime asks her to take Aiko-sensei and leave. Now the real battle begins.
