On January 13, the official Twitter account of the OVERLAP Bunko label announced that Misaki Mori’s Arifureta: I Love Isekai spinoff manga will end with the release of its fifth volume on January 25.
The manga is a spinoff of Ryo Shirakome’s Arifureta – From Commonplace To World’s Strongest light novel series.
Mori launched the four-panel slice-of-life spinoff comedy manga on the Comic Gardo website in July 2017. Shirokome is the creator of the original work and Takayaki has been credited as the original character designer.
The fourth compiled book volume of the manga was published in April 2020 by Overlap. The manga was licensed by Seven Seas, who published its fourth volume in English in October 2021.
Shirakome launched the original novel series in Japan in June 2015 under the OVERLAP Bunko label, with illustrations by Takayaki, after initially publishing it on the online manga website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
The series received an anime adaptation in July 2019 which aired for 13 episodes. The series was streamed on Funimation with subtitles and an English dub. The second television anime premiered in January 2022 and the third season was announced in September.
