The anime premiered in April of 2011, centered on a group of childhood friends who try to reconnect after the ghost of their friend Menma appears and makes them fulfill her last wish. The anime show has inspired various adaptations and saw the release of a sequel film in 2013.

The event titled “Anohana 10 Years After Fes.” is set to take place at the anime’s real-life setting of Chichibu in Saitama. The name of the event is a callback to the Anohana Fes that took place in 2011.

The anniversary event, divided into two parts, will first take place at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Civic Hall, featuring the voice actors performing the stage play.

While the second part will have the singers Ai Kayano, Haruka Tomatsu, and Saori Hayami perform the ending theme of the anime “Secret Base (Kimi ga Kureta Mono)” at the parking lot in front of the Chichibu City Hall.

If you are a fan of the series or just happen to be around the neighborhood, you have no excuse to miss it.
