Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day took us by storm in 2011 through its tear-jerking story of friendships falling apart and unrequited love.
The 10th-anniversary celebration of Anohana announced that the anniversary event on will feature an original stage play by the scriptwriter Mari Okada.
The stage play featuring the original anime voice actors will reveal what happened to the main characters ten years after the anime’s end.
Though it’s just wishful thinking, a stage play featuring an original story after several years makes me wonder if a new season is in the works or not?
The anime show has inspired various adaptations and saw the release of a sequel film in 2013.
