An Unexpected Dead Character Comes Back in Arcane Season 2!

Arcane season 2 is set to surprise fans with the unexpected return of Jason Spisak as Silco. The voice actor of Silco confirms that he has recorded lines for the new episode despite his apparent demise in season 1.

Silco is the adoptive father of Jinx, who aspires to see Zaun free from the rule of Piltover’s Council. He was killed in season 1 in a heated stand-off with Jinx when he was forced to choose between his ambitions for Zaun and his daughter. While Silco appeared to have died in episode 9 of last season, his fate isn’t as inevitable as it seemed.

Spisak discloses to the Ikuzo Unscripted YouTube channel that he has lent his voice to new lines for the upcoming episodes. He also shares that Arcane developer Riot Games has authorized him to announce that he will return for season 2. Watch the video below to learn more.

Damn you [Alex and Christian] for the way season 1 ended! [Laughs] Well, I’ve recorded lines for Season 2. They let me say it. Riot Games let me tell people. They said, “You can officially tell people that you have recorded lines for Season 2.” So, I’m allowed to say that I have.

Silco played a pivotal role in season 1 and was on the verge of winning when Jayce intervened and ruined the show. She proposed a truce to avert a bloodbath between Zaun and Piltover. However, Silco had to surrender Jinx to the Piltover.

Silco was expectedly taken aback but hesitated to go against her. This coerced Jayce to kidnap him, where he confronted Vi, and the situation escalated beyond control.

In an uncontrolled cascade of events, Jinx accidentally shot Silco and escaped the scene.

Silco’s demise in the first season of Arcane seems conclusive, leaving few scenarios for his reappearance that would not compromise the entire storyline.

A chink in the armor could be a figment of Jinx’s imagination, joining the ranks of her deceased friends Mylo and Claggor.

Alternatively, season 2 could delve deeper into the past and explore the origins of the two cities’ conflict, providing more insight into the broader story, Silco’s history, and the circumstances that led to the death of Jinx and Vi’s parents.

Arcane Season 1 has been highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike, and a huge chunk of fans will also welcome Spisak’s return.

Silco was an iconic character torn between emotions and ambitions, and his final fate triggered Jinx’s transformation that altered the course of the show’s world.

Therefore, many are curious to see how Silco’s influence will persist in Arcane even after his death.

About Arcane

Christian Linke and Alex Yee produced the animated action-adventure streaming television series Arcane. It was created by the French animation company Fortiche and published by Netflix under the supervision of Riot Games.

Based on League of Legends’ universe, Arcane explores the delicate balance between the rich, utopian metropolis of Piltover Crest icon.png Piltover and the seedy, downtrodden underworld of Zaun. Many of Runeterra’s brightest minds live in these cities, which are known as the “cities of development.”

However, the development of hextech, which allows anybody to control magical energy, threatens that equilibrium. The plot covers the beginnings of two legendary League champions, as well as the force that would rip them apart.
