Leaks Reveal TV Anime for Rikito Nakamura’s ‘100 Kanojo’ Manga

If you thought that the harem genre could not get worse than it already is, Rikito Nakamura’s ‘100 Kanojo’ manga is here to prove you wrong. This is not even a lousy harem rom-com, but a living nightmare in the category.

As the name suggests, it is a harem of 100 girlfriends, and the protagonist, Rentaro Aijo, loves them all equally. Despite its absurd and controversial tropes, the manga gained a good amount of popularity, leading to a possible anime.

A leak has claimed that Rikito Nakamura’s manga series, ‘The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Love You’ has been slated for a TV anime adaptation.

However, the franchise is yet to make an official statement about this, so we can’t confirm how much of it is true.

Before we get to the plot details, let me give you a trigger warning beforehand. This story contains some really problematic tropes and things that give a bad reputation to weebs.

Now let’s get to the story.

It begins with Rentaro Aijo, a boy who has confessed to a hundred girls and got rejected by all of them, praying to get a girlfriend in high school. Lucky for him, the God of Love grants him more than his wish and reveals that Rentaro is destined to have 100 soulmates.

Naturally, this was overwhelming for Rentaro, who had only seen rejections in life and couldn’t comprehend this blessing. What’s worse is that if Rentaro doesn’t accept his girlfriends, they’re destined to die in an accident.

Not wanting to take away someone’s life, Rentaro accepts his fate and begins his harem life filled with 100 soulmates. From his classmates to their family members to his own family members, Rentaro has to romance them all.

Even though it’s a pretty absurd story, there are people out there who still enjoy it. The only good thing about this manga is that there’s a trope to everyone’s liking.

Before you get too excited about the anime, remember that it’s not yet confirmed.
