Call of Duty Modern Warfare III was announced recently. It will be released on November 10th, 2023. This is a similar time frame as the previous Modern Warfare title.
Recently, it was reported by @MrDalekJD that upon texting “Zombies” to the number seen at the beginning of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare III trailer gives a link to a secret sound file on Activision’s official website. The secret sound file is that of zombies.

This is in line with previous rumors that Zombies would be making a return. With several studios working on the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Zombies mode might be released as a free-to-play experience, similar to Warzone.
Despite no official announcement, this audio file indicates the return of Zombies.
With Gamescom’s Opening Night Live less than a week away, fans expect news on the Modern Warfare III front. Canadian video game journalist Geoff Keighley also has some things to say.

Geoff Keighley teased that new updates are expected on games announced during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.
Therefore, it is a plausible that Activision will release an official announcement for the Zombie mode by that time or at least during the event.
Fans are relieved that despite Microsoft’s ongoing acquisition of Activision, PlayStation players will have early access to the game. The single-player campaign of Modern Warfare III will be set in Verdansk.
With the live event in Warzone set to be held on August 17th, more news is expected about Modern Warfare III ahead of its release. The pre-order links will also likely go live after the worldwide reveal of the game in Warzone 2.0.
