“Zetsubou Funsai Shoujo ∞ Amida”(Despair Smashing Girl ∞ Amida) is a new anime short that was released on 25th May.
The popular action RPG, Monster Strike, and the animation studio, Madhouse, collaborated to produce this short anime. Thus we can expect that the anime will be power-packed with lots of great action scenes.

The joint production was announced on the official website of the project. Daiki Harashima(Chihayafuru 3) was involved in direction.
The short anime has a running time of 4 minutes, 2 seconds and simply awes us with its packed storytelling. A lot of cool action scenes and outfits have also been included. The storyline manages to move us within its short 4 minutes and also inspires us to fight our demons.

The anime advances along with an energetic background music. The theme song, “No Name,” is performed by Kaneyori Masaru (Keep up with Youth), a popular Japanese girl band. The song is from their mini-album, “Kakegaenaku naritai”(Irreparable), which was released in October 2019. This song perfectly captures the emotions of the protagonist and also provides support to the storyline as a whole.
About Zetsubou Funsai Shoujo ∞ Amida
Amida is a normal highschool girl who lives in a world where Nightmares(creatures who create despair) are taking hold of humans and driving them to end their lives.
Infiniti X, an alien security force, chooses Amida and gives her the power to defeat these nightmares. Amida embodies her rich imagination and positive energy as a weapon to fight these creatures in the spirit world. What will she do when her own best friend falls victim to despair, and saving her might sever outstanding bonds?
