Sheldon’s idea for a scientific grant database grew quite famous, but to Sheldon’s dismay, people were only it for the money. But the young genius didn’t let his parents or professors stop him from achieving his goals and decided to cut them all off. Go, Cooper!
Connie didn’t back away from her fight either, finding a way to “peacefully” resolve the matter with Pastor Jeff and the churchgoers.
Episode 9 Synopsis/Speculation
Sheldon is considering dropping out of college to build his database; George Sr. is frustrated when someone else gets credit for his football wins.
The next episode wraps up season 6 of Young Sheldon, with Sheldon considering taking his idea to the next level. But is his decision to quit college wise enough to find proper funding for his brilliant idea? The know-it-all teen hasn’t been wrong so far, so here’s hoping everything works out for him.
George got his job back as the high school’s football coach a few episodes back, but we haven’t seen him in action since then. Well, that’ll change in the next episode, but some drama will be ensued when he doesn’t get his due credit.
Connie and Mandy’s team-up was fun to see in the latest episode, and with Connie’s ongoing tiff with the church, she might open the spiritual eyes of Mandy’s parents in the next episode.

Episode 8 Recap
The university tries to take 90% of the profits from Sheldon’s database, but the Cooper parents hold off the deal till they figure something better. Sheldon receives different bribes from President Hagemeyer, Dr. Linkletter, and Mary to get him on their side.
Meanwhile, churchgoers complain about the sexual content in the video store’s products and block Connie’s customers. An enraged Connie and Mandy pick a fight with Pastor Jeff, but the surprising voice of reason, Georgie, stops them from bringing attention to the store, which risks extra eyes on Connie’s illegal business.
At first, Connie gives in to the church’s demands, and Sheldon agrees to all three parties interested in his money-making idea. But when Connie finds the previous purchases of the church elders and the pastor’s wife, she uses blackmail to get the church to back off from her business.
Sheldon grows weary of the greed of his professors and parents, deciding to cut them all off and seek private investors for his idea.

Young Sheldon is an American sitcom series for CBS, a spin-off of Big Bang Theory. It is created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro.
