Episode 23 of Yashahime saw the Towa and her sisters’ confrontation with Lady Zero. Setsuna was able to gravely injure her but it turned out that her life was also attached to Rin’s lifeline.
If one of them died then the other would die as well. This caused Sesshoumaru to use his Tenseiga on Zero, saving her life and his wife’s as well.
But, Lady Zero was not happy with the rescue and condemned Sesshoumaru. She absorbed all the Rainbow Pearls’ powers and broke the Tenseiga before challenging Sesshoumaru to a fight.
They were just about to engage in a powerful fight when Kirinmaru appeared to participate as well.

No, Yashahime will not be on a break next week. Episode 24 will be released on 20th March as scheduled.
2. Episode 24 Speculation
A small preview of Episode 24 was shown at the end of the 23rd episode.
Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha fight Zero and apprehend her to stop her evil doings once and for all.
Although Kirinmaru’s appearance makes everyone nervous, Sesshoumaru also makes his entry into the fight to deal with Kirinmaru.
Towa had already confessed her feelings towards Riku, but seeing him trying to help Zero makes her upset and she knows she would have to fight him if he stands in their way.
Will Riku survive Towa and her sisters’ attack?
3. Episode 23 Recap
The episode starts with Towa’s teacher, Osamu Kirin talking to Towa’s father about her absence ever since she transferred schools.
It seems Kirin alone can see the Comet in the sky which makes him highly suspicious, as no other normal human can see it.
It turns out Kirin sensei is actually Kirinmaru’s human form in the modern era. He finds out that the normal people of modern Japan cannot see the Comet’s existence.
Later, Towa, Setsuna and Moroha finally catch up to Zero and vehemently attack her. She easily dodges every attack when a Crismon Backlash Wave attack from Moroha almost injures her if not for Riku saving her at the right time.
Riku addresses Lady Zero as Madam making Towa realize she was the Master who took care of Riku. When Riku tells Zero that he has successfully gathered all the Rainbow Pearls, it enrages her.
She collects the rest of the Pearls and gets ready to destroy the Half-Demon sisters when Setsuna uses her demon blood powers to land a heavy blow on Zero’s back, gravely injuring her.
Zero is finally down but it seems her lifeline is attached to Rin’s who is stuck in the Tree of Ages.
Sesshoumaru quickly appears near Zero’s body and uses his Tenseiga to bring her back to life once again in-order to save his wife’s life.
But, Zero feels upset at Sesshoumaru for bringing her back to life using the sword made using his father’s fang. She absorbs the power of all the Rainbow Pearls and breaks the Tenseiga in rage.
Just when Sesshoumaru and Lady Zero are about to engage in a powerful fight, Kirinmaru appears to join in as well.
