2. Wind Breaker Manhwa Chapter 538 Recap
The latest chapter of Wind Breaker started out with Jay Jo pulling off his insane stunt: swerving, a technique in which a rider can use only their rear wheel to instantaneously change directions. With this, he could overtake Hong Vinny once again. The audience cheered on him a lot for this, but Vinny was visibly infuriated. Everyone was still shocked to see that Jay simply didn’t give up, and he wasn’t going to allow anyone to take his spot.
Meanwhile, far behind Jay and the others, Dom Kang seemed to be reaching his limit. He seemed to be really depressed, and Shelly got infuriated seeing this, and asked him to pull his act together. She told him that they couldn’t let Jay Jo be alone at the frontline, as he’d be really tired at this point. This was enough motivation for him to get fired up again. On their way downhill, they spotted Joker, who seemed to be taking his sweet time down the road. This was rather shocking as Joker was known to be better at downhill sprinting.
Watching Joker in his sorry state really raised Dom Kang’s morale by a lot. When he raced ahead, he noticed that Joker proceeded with the race quite literally… he ran on the bike with his feet planted on the ground, much like in a regular race. The crowd started to cackle as they watched the two sprinters literally sprint down the road. Since this wasn’t an official match, they couldn’t be disqualified for this act, so they went on with it. However, Dom Kang’s ankle was in horrible shape from the mishap that happened a few chapters ago, and he found it quite hard to keep up with Joker.
On another end, we got to see Wooin trying to knock a player out of their bike in the name of “body checking”, which he argued was a very natural survival strategy. Finally, we got to see the race at the front again. Here, Hyuk, who had been very quiet for a while, has finally started stirring up again. He got to see a bit of his psychopathic tendencies when he picked the wings of dragonflies as a child. It seemed as if he loved to destroy things when they were in the prime of their beauty, so he chose to attack Jay out of the blue right after he proved himself to be an unbeatable sprinter.

Hyuk Kwon has stooped really low in the latest chapter of Wind Breaker. We would’ve expected Vinny to set up some kind of a trap for Jay, like with the doping liquid. However, they may not need it after all since Hyuk decided to crash into Jay’s bike to trip him up.
