Will Yellowstone Return with Season 5 on Paramount? Most Likely!

Sure, it has only been two days since Yellowstone Season 4 ended. As the fans gasp and reel with excitement, here’s another exciting piece—a Yellowstone Season 5 might be in the works right now.

Yellowstone Season 5 is not a far-fetched idea but can be an easy possibility considering how popular the Paramount drama has been.

The network hasn’t officially announced if the show will return, but considering the ever-expanding Yellowstone universe and the excellent ratings, it’s safe to assume it will.

Will Yellowstone Return with Season 5 on Paramount? Most Likely!

Yellowstone has also been raking in viewers with new seasons every time. The pandemic stopped the world from running but not the audience’s love for the show.

So, has Yellowstone Season 5 been officially renewed?

If one judges from any official statements from the broadcasting company itself, no. There have been almost zero updates on the show’s renewal. Yellowstone had enjoyed early renewal news about Season 4 before Season 3 even aired, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this time.

With a record-setting 8.3 million viewers tuning in to cable TV to watch the Season 4 premiere, it only makes sense to rile the audience more.

Unofficially, Cole Hauser discreetly confirmed that Paramount would be taking the audience back to Montana.

Ahead of the release of Season 4, Hauser talked about Season 5 and its scripting in an interview with Hall Wines virtual Happy Hour show in March 2021.

When interviewer Kathryn Walt Hall asked the actor when they would “start filming again,” he replied:

Will Yellowstone Return with Season 5 on Paramount? Most Likely!

Taylor’s [Showrunner/writer Taylor Sheridan] working on it [the script] right now and I think we will be back sometime in July. I’m looking forward to getting back to Montana and… After Season 5, I mean, Season 5 is gonna be, you know, wonderful. I meant, the way we ended Season 4…

When Will Yellowstone Season 5 Be Released?

The pandemic delayed filming for almost every show, and Yellowstone was one of them. Previously, all three seasons of the show premiered in July, but Season 4 was released in September, which shook up the predictions.

A Reddit user uploaded pictures of a road in Montana with the show’s signature ‘Y’ board in October 2021.

While other users claimed it could very well be its spinoff shows 1883 and 6666, but it could also be the new season, judging by Hauser’s words.

Whatever it was, it seems like Yellowstone will most certainly return with Season 5 sometime around mid or late 2022.
