Our favorite vampires (Not the Cullens!) are coming back to town! What We Do In the Shadows season 3 is scheduled to premiere on 2nd September. We can’t wait to meet our house of vampires and Guillermo – The Vampire Slayer! Didn’t think I would ever see vampires and a vampire slayer living under the same roof.
But along with them, will we see Jenna return?
Though the producers have teased the return of a character, they haven’t revealed the identity. Jenna returning to season 3 is highly unlikely since she didn’t come after season 1.
The show producers Paul Simms and Stefani Robinson teased that a character will return to season 3, and it’s supposedly someone we all know and love. However, this in no way indicates Jenna or anyone else for that matter.
We all know how Jenna got converted to a vampire by Nadja out of sympathy, and boy, was the transition hilarious. However, after season 1, we didn’t see the character in season 2. In season 2, there were a couple of mentions by other vampires, but it didn’t point to her returning.
However, her arc is still sort of incomplete and has a lot of scope for development. Maybe her transition phase is complete, and she is looking to hang out with people with a similar “taste.” Though her story is pretty open-ended, it doesn’t look like the writers are moving in that direction any time soon.
What Will We Get To See In Season 3?
The producers have revealed that Nandor might try to find love (That guy deserves it!), and we’ll see gargoyles and hounds make an appearance in the show too. And no, I didn’t forget. Now that the vampires no Guillermo is a vampire slayer, they will have something to resolve between them.
What We Do In the Shows season 3 comes out on 2nd September, and I just can’t wait to see what these creatures come up with!
