The storyline of Shinobi no Ittoki has been getting more interesting with each episode. The season is nearing its end and getting new plot twists and developments. The fans have high expectations for the season finale and we just hope the writers wrap it up properly.
In episode 11 of this anime, we have seen Ittoki, Kotetsu, and Tokisada who basically took on a suicide mission of directly contacting the Koga leader. The fate of these characters remains unknown and I am trying to put forward my predictions for the same. So, let’s jump in!
Ittoki and Kotetsu might come out alive at the end of this season finale based on all the considerations. However, Tokisada may not make it out and this might serve as Ittoki’s realization of the harsh truth.
Episode 12: What to Expect?
Shinobi no Ittoki has neared its finale and fans have major expectations from the same. We have seen Ittoki, Kotetsu, and Tokisada leave with the secret Ninja scroll to confront Kidou.
However, it wouldn’t be anywhere near easy to get to the clan leader. It has been established throughout the series that the Koga clan is super powerful and Kidou would be highly guarded. It’s basically a suicide mission.
And even if they really get to Kidou, there is absolutely no guarantee that he would listen to the plea of the new Iga Clan leader as his true objectives have always been to get rid of all the Shinobi.
Season 1, Final Episode: Preview
The preview of episode 12 shows the Kotetsu and Ittoki fighting the numerous Koga clan members and it somehow looks lighter than what was expected.
The tones of the preview do not seem dark, considering that this is a pretty gruesome situation. This may mean that the trio will find themselves out of this situation.
Will the trio escape or Will someone die?
Honestly, without plot armor, it would be impossible for this trio to get out alive. However, I believe Ittoki will get out of this sticky situation alive just based on the fact that he is the protagonist.
Many fans are speculating about a season 2. If we are going to have a second season, we would require our protagonist to be alive. So, there is a high possibility that Ittoki will come out of this mission alive.
Or, the show might go a different way and Ittoki might end up dead for the Iga people to finally have peace. But the probability of this happening seems very low.
Coming to Kotetsu, I believe that the writers wouldn’t just kill her off. If there is a season 2, she would play a major role.
I think the only character with a high possibility of ending up dead is Tokisada. He is one of the people that Ittoki trusts and relies on the most.
The writers might kill him off, to finally make Ittoki understand that there is no way there can be peace between Koga and Iga. This might form a storyline for season 2.
Please note that these are all speculations and we cannot get our answers until the release of the final episode which will air on 20th December 2022.
Episode 11: Important Plot Points!
The 11th episode of Shinobi no Ittoki is titled “The Path with No Regrets” and saw some of the major reveals of the anime. Ittoki has developed a lot and is finally starting to look and feel like a clan leader.
He has made a major decision to cede the secret Ninja code to the Koga clan. His only condition is for the Iga Clan to have their autonomy. However, many of the Iga members seem opposed to the idea.
The Iga Clan members want to overthrow their new chief as they strongly oppose his ideologies. However, this turned out to be a ploy by Kozo, Tokisada, and Ittoki to bring out Reiha, the real traitor.
Kozo discovers the notes Ittoki left behind. He finds out that the new clan leader has taken up a huge responsibility to confront Kidou alone to avoid destruction and bloodshed.
He left with Tokisada and Kousetsu along with the secret Ninja core to make the deal with the Koga clan head.
