Will Star Wars: The Bad Batch feature a cameo from Ahsoka Tano?

The season 2 premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is almost upon us, but we are still unsure whether one of the Clone Wars’ more prominent figures will appear in the upcoming season. Ahsoka Tano has yet to appear in the Star Wars: Clone Wars spinoff despite the animated series featuring Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and Emperor Palpatine.

Season 2’s trailer did not feature the former Padawan, and no official confirmation of her revival has been publicized, but we’re hoping the TV series will bring her back. Considering she’s one of the key figures in the fight against the Galactic Empire, The Bad Batch should reprise her role in the upcoming season.

But chances of seeing the Togruta warrior in season 2 of the Bad Batch are pretty slim, considering the timeline of the show clashes with Tano’s years hiding from the Empire. But it’s not unreasonable to expect a small cameo with her greeting Clone Force 99 via Captain Rex, who is undoubtedly in contact with her.

The character will be getting a new series in her name in 2023, so it’s not like the Star Wars fandom won’t have a chance to see the legendary character at all this year, even if Bad Batch won’t feature her.

Gungi and Bail Organa are set to make an appearance in season 2, so it’s safe to say our hopes may not be dashed yet. We’ll just have to wait for the season 2 premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch to see if Tano makes it to the screens again.
