‘Why Nobody Remembers My World?’ is a light novel series by Kei Sazani, who is known for his works like “Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World” and “Gods’ Games We Play.”
Why Nobody Remembers My World isn’t as popular as Kei Sazane’s other works, and it was a dead dream for many fans who hoped for an anime adaptation. However, a new announcement about this series has left fans stunned.
An anime adaptation for Kei Sazane’s “Naze Boku no Sekai o Dare mo Oboeteinai no ka?” (Why Nobody Remembers My World?) was announced at the MF Bunko J Summer School Festival livestream event. The anime will premiere in 2024.
The anime’s teaser visual illustrated by neco was revealed. It features our protagonists, Kai and Rinne.
The manga adaptation author of Why Nobody Remembers My World, Arikan, also drew an illustration to commemorate the announcement.
The story of “Why Nobody Remembers My World” centers on an era in which humans, led by the hero Cid, won the great war between the five races competing for supremacy on earth.
However, that world gets “overwritten” in front of a boy named Kai. Dragons and demons rule the earth in the overwritten world, and humans lose the great war without the hero Cid.
The boy Kai, also forgotten by all humans, decides to reclaim the “true world” after meeting a mysterious girl named Rinne.
Kei Sazane is known for creating excellent fantasy series with immersive worlds. This series is no exception; both the premise and the plot of the series are gripping. The anime also has a mystery element which might add to the entertainment factor.
Even though this series isn’t as popular as Sazane’s other works, it is an anime worth watching.
