Remnant 2 Cargo Control Key Guide: Where to find and how to use it?

Remnant 2 features a lot of secret quest items that can be obtained while progressing through the game. One of these secret items is the Cargo Control Key. This key can be used to unlock a certain handgun in the game, but first you’ll need to obtain it.

The Cargo Control Key can be found inside a locked chest inside Ford’s Office in Remnant 2. This chest can only be unlocked after Ford gives you a Flashlight to use in dark areas later in the story. The code to the locked chest, 0415, will be scribed under it.

You’ll need to inspect the Flashlight in your inventory to properly see the code. Here’s how you can do that:

• Open the menu.
• From the top tab, click on Inventory.
• Rotate the flashlight, and you’ll notice the numbers 0415 scribed at the bottom.

Ford’s Office is located in Ward 13. Head up the stairs from the World Stone there, and you’ll find his Office in the final room. Collect the Cargo Control Key after putting in the code and unlocking the chest.

Don’t forget that you’ll not be able to obtain the code until you’ve collected the Flashlight from Ford. Now let’s see where to use this key and what it unlocks.

1. Where to use the Cargo Control Key in Remnant 2?

The Cargo Control Key can be used in a locked room in Ward 13 to obtain the MP60-R handgun. Explore Ward 13, and you’ll come across an area filled with containers. Your path will take you to a narrow passageway, which will eventually lead you to the locked door.

Once you use the Cargo Control Key and unlock the door, you’ll see the MP60-R handgun on a table. The handgun itself isn’t all that damaging, but it has a pretty nice fire rate and a large ammo reserve, which can be useful in combat. Here are the stats:

• DMG: 9
• RPS: 14.2
• Magazine: 42

Now that you’ve obtained this weapon, it’s up to you whether you’ll use it or not.
