Yoshifumi Totsuka released Undead Unluck as a one-shot titled ‘Undead + Unluck,’ on January 28, 2019, in Weekly Shonen Jump and was soon serialized in the magazine in January 2020.
It was subsequently developed into a full-fledged series, officially serialized starting on January 20, 2020, in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 8. It began publishing it in print in May 2021.

In Undead Unluck’s realm, people who can negate the world’s rules or bend the laws of mother nature are known as ‘Negators,’ and the names of abilities are prefaced with “Un-.”
The protagonist, Fuuko Izumo, is labeled as “Unluck.” which obviously means that she is quite unlucky, as her ability afflicts anyone she touches with bad luck and misfortune.
Sorta of like the Greek King Midas, whose touch would turn everything into gold.
She had lived in seclusion for 10 damn years since an incident where over 200 people died, along with her parents, due to her ability when she was just 8 years old.
After completing her favorite Long-running Girls Manga series, she decided to bring an end to it all by committing suicide.
Right when she is about to give it a go on ending her life, a mysterious man touches her by mistake, and he gets “killed” by an upcoming train.
However, she discovers that he didn’t die because his ability is “Undead,” making him literally an immortal dude.
