Catching all sorts of Pokemon is no easy task, but Pokemon HOME makes your job easier. Pokemon HOME is a cloud service that helps you to store Pokemon from different Pokemon games in one place.

What makes Pokemon HOME super-efficient is its Pokemon transfer service, through which you can transfer Pokemon from one game to another. That means you can transfer your Pikachu from Pokemon Scarlet to Pokemon Violet and so on!

Pokemon HOME will become compatible with Scarlet and Violet in Spring 2023, according to the latest press release by Nintendo. Once it becomes compatible, you can transfer Pokemon from Sword and Shield, and other compatible Pokemon games to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

You can connect Scarlet and Violet to Pokemon HOME by opening the HOME app. Choose the Pokemon option in the main menu, and select Scarlet and Violet to connect.

Pokemon HOME app offers a wide variety of features, including National Pokedex, Battle Data, and so on. Here’s the list of all the features you can access through the Pokemon HOME app once it becomes compatible with Scarlet and Violet.

I. Move Pokemon between different games

You can move Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet to other compatible games, and transfer other Pokemon from past games to the Paldea region. 

However, Gen 9 Pokemon can’t be transferred to the previous games. Similarly, you can only move those Pokemon that are available in the roster of each game.

II. Trade Pokemon

Through Pokemon HOME, you can trade Pokemon in four different ways. You can trade random Pokemon by placing them in a Wonder Box or you can decide to trade a specific Pokemon by using GTS.

You can trade Pokemon with strangers in a room by using Room Trade or you can trade Pokemon with your friends directly using the Friend Trade option.

III. National Pokedex

To check what Pokemon you have caught across different Pokemon games, you can access Pokemon Home’s National Dex. This National Dex includes and registers all the mega-evolution forms, Gigantamax forms, and Terastallized forms as well!

IV. Judge your Pokemon!

If you pay for Pokemon HOME’s premium plan, you can use the Judge function to check how strong your Pokemon are!

V. Check your Battle Data

Once Scarlet and Violet becomes compatible with Pokemon HOME, you will be able to check all the latest Battle Stadium statistics such as Trainer rankings, Online Competitions, your frequently used Pokemon, and so on. You can even check out the capture dates of any Pokemon.

VI. Get a personalized room!

Which games are compatible with Pokemon Home?

About Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Game

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are role-playing games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The game released on November 18, 2022, and marks the beginning of the ninth generation in the Pokemon Franchise.

Introducing 107 new pokemon and an open-world landscape, the game takes place in the Paldea region. Players can choose from three separate stories.
