Another legal drama is coming to our screens this summer, and Jake Gyllenhaal is taking the lead this time.
While there’s no shortage of legal and crime dramas, we certainly aren’t going to complain about another series joining the roster.

Presumed Innocent will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting June 14, 2024. The first and second episodes will be released on June 14, with each remaining episode following a week later.
The final episode will air on July 26, 2024.
2. Presumed Innocent Cast and Crew
Jake Gyllenhaal is leading the cast of Presumed Innocent in the leading role of Rusty Sabich. However, Gyllenhaal has many credentials with him from films, but this will be his very first big television role.
Bill Camp joins the all-time great character actor in Presumed Innocent as he plays Raymond Horgan, Rusty Sabich’s boss, when the new crime thriller airs, according to Deadline.
Elizabeth Marvel joins her real-life husband, Bill Camp, in Presumed Innocent, where she plays Lorraine Horgan, who is the wife of Raymond, portrayed by Bill Camp. Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) join the cast also.
Unfortunately, Carolyn’s life is cut short when she becomes the victim of a gruesome murder.
Sarsgaard plays Tommy Molto, the Chief Deputy District Attorney, with a huge chip on his shoulder. While strong and tough in the courtroom, Molto is rather insecure and lonely in his personal life.

Apple TV+ premiered the teaser for “Presumed Innocent” on May 1, 2024. The upcoming eight-part limited series, from multi-Emmy Award winners David E. Kelley and executive producer J.J. Abrams, features and is executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow, it takes its viewers on a ride through the heart-stopping murder that throws the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office off balance when its chief deputy prosecutor, Rusty Sabich, is accused of the crime.
The issues covered in this series revolve around obsession, sex, politics, and power and its limit in love. The accused is in the frame to keep his family and marriage intact.
